American Red Cross Blood Drive Friday, December 14, 2018 3pm - 7pm

Our winter holiday drive is here and once again we request your blood donation for the last time this year. What better way to GIVE this season, than to GIVE the gift of life!

While the need is ongoing, the blood supply isn’t — especially around the holidays, when regular donors travel and spend time with family and friends. American Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, December 14, 2018 3pm - 7pm

Chili Cook-Off and Camporee

Come join us for a day of football, tailgating, cornhole, and chili!

ENTRANTS:
Calling all cooks! Do you have a favorite chili recipe? Do you want to impress your fellow neighbors with your chili cookin’ skills? Look no further than Northcrest Swim and Tennis Club’s first Chili Cook-Off.

Enter the competition and vie for the GRAND PRIZE of a free 2019 Northcrest Swim and Tennis Club membership! (transferable, but not for resale or cash value) and bragging rights!  If you’re interested in throwing your name in the hat, please register below. ($20 per entry)

Only 20 slots are available!  The first eight slots can use club power for their crock-pot, the remaining contestants must use their own means to keep their chili warm for tasting/consuming.  This contest is open to current members only and no more than 1 per household.  Be sure to sign-up before they are all taken.
More details on what to expect that day and what we’ll need from you will be provided once we confirm your entry.

TASTERS: Come enjoy the chili and other yummy fixins (including chili condiments, cornbread, hot dogs) while helping us determine the best Northcrest Chili Chef! Each member (adult or child) ticket sold will come with 1 voting stub.  Use the link below to purchase your tickets in advance. Ticket prices are  $12/$15/$6 (member/non-member/child).

We'll have the TVs set up for some football viewing and the cornhole boards set up for some friendly competition.  It's a tailgate without the pricey parking or long bathroom lines!

We're also having a beer potluck.  What is a beer potluck, you might ask? It's just like a regular potluck, but with beer! If you so choose, bring some of your favorite beers to share with your neighbors.  Bringing more than one variety is preferred, variety is the spice of life!  Are you a homebrewer?  Let's taste your wares! If you're in the chili cook-off bring a beer that pairs well with your chili!

Contestants must have their chili ready for tasting/judging by 3pm.

We count the votes and announce our winners at 5pm!

Since the old pavilion will be demolished by the date of the chili cook-off we'll need pop-up tents for shade.  If you have one to lend we would greatly appreciate it!  Please let us know if you can help.  Drop us an email at membership@northcrestclub.com

American Red Cross blood drive at Northcrest Club

This has absolutely nothing to do with our usual swimming, tennis or party activities. We just have some members that want to share their passion for saving lives with neighbors in a very convenient way.

Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood—most often to save their life. Blood can only come from donors like you to help save the lives of people much like your neighbors.

Mark your calendars for April 24 from 11 a.m.—4 p.m. Reserve a spot online today!
